FAQ’s

How can we help? Need answers? Find them here!

We can’t give you the secrets that are locked away behind each door, but these FAQs do offer valuable tips, tricks and suggestions to help you prepare for your journey through an escape room.

Are your rooms wheelchair friendly? What if I or someone in my group is unable to stand for the full hour?

Yes. All our rooms can be played from a wheelchair except for The Path. Some rooms have crawl spaces, but alternate routes are available, too! We also have plenty of chairs if you or one of your teammates needs to rest during your game.

Can I bring extra people?

Both extra people and basic people are welcome in our facilities. In all seriousness, our limits are set by fire safety codes. We are able to accommodate an extra player in some of our rooms:

Grim Stacks: up to 7 players,

Rescue: up to 7 players, and

Amnesia: up to 11 players.

The Reel, The Path, and Knight and Rook cannot exceed 6 players.

Can I drink-and-solve?

We put lots of thought into this one, and we landed on hard pass! No drinking and solving allowed during your game, it’s better for everyone this way. Disruptive or destructive behavior during your game will cause us to reschedule for another time. As much as we love watching you struggle, we like it better when you win!

Can I just walk-in, or do I have to make a reservation in advance?

Doesn’t make a difference to us! We’re always open during operating hours regardless of bookings. You, however, may want to reserve a room ahead of time to ensure it doesn’t book up.

Can teenagers play unaccompanied?

You trust teenagers unaccompanied?! You are braver than us, but ok.  Let’s go with it.

Players under the age of 18 need a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to sign for them in store at the time of check-in.

If you are trying to get away from your children for an hour (and they are 16 or older), we will watch them while they play.  If they are under the age of 16, sorry! You’re going to have to stay in the room and play with your children. 😊

Do you have any discounts?

We have a discount for our military; thank you for your service.  Please give us a call to receive your code if this is you! For other discounts, check out our “Pricing” page.

Do you have Groupon?

Negative, but we got you.  Check out the “Pricing” page for all our latest promos.

Do you keep stats?

We are way too busy keeping track of whether you are having fun to worry about stats.  If you want to know if a particular room is a good fit, check out our “Games” page to see its challenge level.

Do you need a minimum number of people to play?

No! We find that groups of 3+ enhance your experience, but we are confident you will have fun regardless.

How do I make a reservation?

Click the “Book Now” button (they’re easy enough to find). Rather hear a voice? Give us a call at (720) 379-7656.

How long do we have?

You have 60 minutes to complete your objective and “escape”. It’ll feel like 20.

How much does it cost?

Prices start at $33.95 per person, and all rooms are private. Check out our “Pricing” page for any current promos and more info. Children under the age of 6 who are accompanied by an adult play for free!

I booked – why can’t my friends book the same room?

Hey, congrats on the friends! Whether you book one spot or ten, the room is 100% yours. Your friends can pay in person upon arrival.

Do I Have to Pay for my Entire Group in Advance?

We get it, you have a lot of friends. 😂 At checkout select “deposit”. This will allow you to make a deposit in the amount of your choice (minimum 1 player). You can settle your balance upon your arrival in store.

I don’t want to play with a bunch of randos. Will other people be in the room?

All our rooms are private, so whether you book one spot or ten, the room is yours. No randos for you, fancy pants. 👑

I’m in. How do I get my friends to play?

I’m in. How do I get my friends to play?

There are many ways to go about this, but we’ve found the following works best:

Put some feelers out there with your friends and see if they’re interested in a game. Once you get a few “yeses” and terminate friendships with those who say “no”, find a couple dates that would work for most people.

Pick your favorite theme (you’re the one booking, after all), and purchase your spot. Your friends can pay their own way (or you can pay for them, we don’t care!) upon arrival.

Lastly, feel proud and a little smug about the great time you organized for everyone. 🦚 You’re the real MVP!

Is there a minimum age to play?

Players of all ages are welcome in our rooms. The puzzles are really designed for adults, but we’ve found kids ages 12 and up tend to have fun and do well! Younger kids also enjoy the games, especially with some help from their elder teammates. 🙃

What are your hours?

Monday-Thursday:  4pm-8pm

Friday:  4pm-9pm

Saturday:  12pm-10pm

Sunday: 12pm-7pm

What do I wear?

We prefer formal wear just because it’s entertaining to watch people play escape rooms in top hats and evening gowns, but it’s probably best to wear clothes you can easily move around in. Escape rooms aren’t physically demanding, so you don’t need to go full activewear. 🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️️ But we recommend opting for pants or shorts over dresses and skirts. Comfortable shoes and prescription eyewear are a good move, too.

What do we win if we escape?

Warm and fuzzies, bragging rights, and if you ask nicely, we give some impressive pats on the back!  Also, we offer 20% off if you re-book in store.

What happens if we don’t escape?

We think gossiping is bad manners, so we won’t tell anyone if you don’t. Fun is our goal; escaping is just icing on the cake.

What IS an escape room?

An escape room is a themed experience where puzzle solving meets a scavenger hunt. It’s like a board game and a video game had a baby.  Trust us, it’s a great way to create memories with people you like and a great way to kill time with people you don’t. 😅

What’s the best room for kids? What are your easiest/most difficult rooms?

We recommend going with rooms that have lower challenge levels.  Check out our “Games” page for more info.

Will anything jump out and scare us?

Nope. Our rooms are not scary and there are no actors present. Unless you’re scared of spending quality time with your friends/family/co-workers, you’ll be fine. ?

Will I be locked in?

Absolutely not! That’s not safe. You can leave at any time, but we don’t think you’ll want to. ?
